Reaching the Limit Dixie National Forest, Utah A grove of Aspens stretches to the sky. The most broadly distributed tree in North America, the Aspen plays an important ecological role in its habitat for biodiversity, notably providing a home for many forms of wildlife. In addition, Aspens can sustain for long periods through an ability to have their root systems lie dormant for centuries before growing again under the right conditions. |
