McDonald Creek

Glacier National Park, Montana

McDonald Creek exhibits a rainbow of hues as cool, turquoise water rushes over vibrantly colored rocks.  A still pool on the river’s edge provides a clear view to the river’s bottom, consisting of dozens of vivid colors.  Soon the water will enter Lake McDonald, a ten mile long, 472 foot deep lake that was carved long ago by a huge glacier.
