Sycamore Sky

Simsbury, Connecticut

A mature Sycamore tree fills a mid-winter blue sky. The Sycamore is found throughout a large range extending across much of the eastern half of the United States. The tree’s whitewashed limbs are the result of a unique exfoliating bark that flakes off in irregular patterns as the tree grows.
