Young Stare Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming A Coyote pup turns and stares attentively, practicing his expression for natural use later as an adult. A Coyote that directs its eyes and ears strongly forward, as is the case here, suggests that something is stimulating the young pup. This is consistent with the animal’s propensity for a high degree of observational learning. |
