Running Wind

Red Desert, Wyoming

A young foal tries to keep pace with its mother, while running through the sagebrush-strewn Red Desert of southwestern Wyoming. Once the North American wild horse population numbered in the millions, but today only 25,000 exist, including here on this high desert plateau.
