Road to Nowhere Pondera County, Montana A gravel road appears to go on forever across the vast open plains of rural Montana. Gravel roads are much less expensive to build than those that are paved and by comparison blend in more effectively with the natural environment. This area is so lowly populated that in a half hour, only one other car had passed on this road. |
