Mountain Glow

Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming

Evening sunlight passes through storm clouds to illuminate the eastern side of the Teton Range.  The serenity of this scene is in sharp contrast to the rugged nature of this mountain chain, which was raised millions of years ago by up to 7,000 feet above a falling valley known as Jackson Hole.
