Leaving the Den

Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming

Three coyote pups are the first to emerge from their den on a crisp morning in Yellowstone National Park. Only a couple of months old, the males of these pups will leave the family within the year, while the females will remain and form the basis of a small pack.
